Vegas family doctor accused of drugging, raping patients; production, possession of child pornography

A Las Vegas family-practice doctor arrested for child pornography is now accused of drugging and raping patients.
Family practitioner Dr. Binh "Ben" Minh Chung, 41, was held on $1 million bail Wednesday after prosecutors said they identified 11 new victims.
A teen girl being treated for acne accused Chung of drugging her and raping her in 2014. The girl's mother said she was also sexually assaulted by Chung.
A 15-year-old girl seeking treatment for pinkeye accused Chung of fondling her in2006.
Chung faces 13 counts of administering a drug (ketamine, an anesthetic) to aid the commission of a felony.
- Chung's wife reportedly found videos of the doctor having sex with unconscious women. She has filed for divorce.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Chung faces 28 criminal counts, including 11 counts involving child-pornography production and possession, and three counts of sexual assault on one victim. The sexual assault charge carries a possible life sentence.
Chung's medical license has been suspended indefinitely.
