Mom accused of beheading baby found competent to stand trial

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- (WXIX) -- The mom accused of beheading her 3-month-old daughter has been found competent to stand trial, according to the Hamilton County prosecutor's office.
Doctors will still continue to examine Deasia Watkins, 20, to see if she meets the not guilty by reason of insanity legal standard.
"It's rarely used and rarely successful," said former Hamilton County prosecutor and Fox 19 Now Legal Analyst Mike Allen.
