Mom takes matters into own hands after son threatened with gun during home invasion

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- (WGCL) -- A Bartow County mother is taking matters into her owns hands after an intruder put a gun to her teenage son's head during a home invasion last week.
Brenda Miles told CBS46 she and her husband were working overnight when an intruder entered their home looking for items to steal. Their 16-year-old son, Travis Williams, awoke and came face-to-face with the intruder.
The boy told investigators the intruder threatened his life.
