'Dance Moms' star Abby Lee Miller indicted for bankruptcy fraud

PITTSBURGH -- (WBFF) -- "Dance Moms" reality TV star Abby Lee Miller was indicted Wednesday by the Department of Justice on allegations related to bankruptcy fraud and lying about income.
According to a news release from United States Attorney David J. Hickton in the Western District of Pennsylvania, the 20-count indictment against Abigale Lee Miller, 50, formally of Penn Hills, outlines the charges related to bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets, and false bankruptcy declarations.
According to the indictment (.PDF), after filing a Petition to Reorganize her dance studio in December 2010, Miller schemed to defraud the bankruptcy court by concealing income she earned between 2012 and 2013 from her performances on the reality TV show "Dance Moms" and related spinoff TV shows, as well as from Masterclass dance sessions and merchandise and apparel sales, according to a news release.
