Police K9 dogs are crucially important in the line of duty.
K9s have been helping protect law enforcement and our homes for years - but what you might not know is the amount of training that goes into getting these incredible dogs ready to save lives.
So Crime Watch Daily went to Force Training Institute, one of the top K9 training facilities in the country, to see how these dogs go from puppies to protectors.
