Man gets 170 years in fatal shooting of father and teen daughter

HARTFORD CITY, Ind. -- (WXIN) -- An eastern Indiana man was sentenced to 170 years in prison for fatally shooting a man and his teenage daughter earlier this year in Blackford County.
A judge handed down the sentence Monday for Charles Whittington, 60, Portland. On Feb. 5, Whittington shot and killed Shane Williamson, 40, and his 14-year-old daughter, Katelin, at their Hartford City apartment building.
