'Tibetan healer' accused of raping woman

ESCONDIDO, Calif. -- (KSWB) -- An Escondido man who clamed to be a Tibetan healer is in jail after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman during a massage service.
Police arrested Vasiliy “Ardi” Galashev, 61, Monday after his DNA matched evidence from a sexual assault investigation.
The registered sex offender is accused of assaulting a woman while he provided massage services in May. Evidence was collected from the victim during the investigation and sent to the San Diego Sheriff's Crime Lab for forensic analysis.
