NEWTOWN, Conn. -- (WTIC) -- Monday is the first time Newtown students will be in school on the same day of the 2012 tragedy that happened three years ago. Officials are planning a quiet remembrance as they try to keep the school day as normal as possible, honoring the victims, but not re-living the trauma.
This comes as a video is out featuring teacher survivors from Sandy Hook Elementary School. The teachers and librarians are in a home talking about what they experienced on that day. It was produced by Joe Quint, a photographer and gun-control advocate out of Brooklyn, NY.
