FBI: Jewelry store robbery suspect arrested

SMYRNA, Ga. -- (WGCL) -- A suspect wanted in multiple jewelry store robberies across the Southeastern region is now in FBI custody.
Abigail Lee Kemp, 24, was arrested Friday, in Smyrna by agents from the FBI Atlanta Division. Another individual with Kemp at the time of her arrest is also in police custody.
According to Special Agent Lawrence Borghini, Kemp and her partner targeted outlet malls right off major interstates. The Jared's Vault store at the Outlet Shoppes in Woodstock was her first of six targets.
Police say Kemp and her accomplice have gotten away with millions of dollars' worth diamonds and high-end watches from stores in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee.
