OVERTON TOWNSHIP -- (WNEP) -- State police confirm that a woman's body recovered from a creek in Bradford County Friday is Michelle Inch, the woman missing from the Montoursville area since late January.
An autopsy was conducted Monday at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York.
Authorities said Inch died from blood loss from gunshot wounds and ruled the death a homicide.
The coroner said Inch also suffered stab wounds and blunt force trauma.
The badly decomposed body was discovered face down, in a creek, near Monroeton.
Michelle Inch was last seen in late January, several hours before her boyfriend Michael Houseweart and Brian Vroman allegedly broke into her parents' home near Montoursville, tied them up with duct tape, and set the home on fire.
Houseweart and Vroman currently face attempted homicide and other charges in connection with the home invasion.
So far no one has been charged in the disappearance of Michelle Inch.
