Jail recordings of Cherish Perrywinkle's accused killer released

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- (WJXT) -- As Donald Smith awaits trial on charges that he kidnapped, raped and murdered 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle in June 2013, the State Attorney's Office released more evidence Tuesday in the case, including jailhouse conversations secretly recorded by his cellmate.
The audio file from the State Attorney's Office includes 72 hours of conversations and noises that investigators got with the help of inmate Randall Deviney.
