12-year-old missing after skateboarding in neighborhood

PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES -- (LAPD) -- The family of David Torres and detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Mission Area are asking for the public's help in locating 12-year-old David Torres.
David was last seen on July 19, 2016, around 12:45 a.m., in the 9200 block of Woodman Avenue. He left his residence to go outside and skateboard in the area of Woodman Avenue and Terra Bella Street. He has not been seen or heard from since, and his family is extremely concerned for his welfare.
David is described as a male Hispanic with short black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs approximately 125 pounds and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, gray pants and carrying a black backpack.
