CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ala. -- (WHNT) -- Investigators with the Sheriff's Offices in Cherokee and Calhoun Counties hope you can help locate a man suspected in the murder of two people and the kidnapping of his estranged wife.
Deputies have identified the man as 30-year-old Jeffrey Wilcox, Jr. He lives in northern Calhoun County and works in the Anniston area.
Wilcox drives a red 2011 Chevy Silverado with AL tag #11FR476. The truck is customized with a lift kit and larger tires.
Investigators say you should consider Wilcox to be armed and dangerous. Do not approach him if seen. Instead, call 911 immediately.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, State Fire Marshals Office, District Attorney's Office, Cherokee County Coroner, and Center for Applied Forensics at Jacksonville State University are assisting with the investigation.
