BUFORD, Ga. -- (WGCL) -- Gwinnett County Police said they now know a little more about the remains of a woman found along the I-985 corridor.
Police said the woman, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, was wearing a Miley Cyrus hoodie, black Victoria's Secret pants with "LOVE PINK" on the leg, and size 7 Pink Nike Air Max Cage shoes.
"It's not only vital that we solve the case, but it's also important that we bring closure to a family who is missing their loved one," Police said in a press release. "By giving a name to the bones, we can begin the process of determining the events in her life that ultimately led to her death."
Police said they'll investigate all credible leads, even ones outside the age range they specified.
The remains were found on August 1 and authorities said it appears she died about 6 months ago, based on the decomposition. All of her bones were found in the suitcase.
