Man, woman sought in Compton gas station armed robbery caught on surveillance video

LOS ANGELES -- (KTLA) -- Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials are looking for a man and a woman in connection with an armed robbery at a gas station in Compton.
The incident was reported about 3 a.m. Tuesday at an ampm store at an Arco gas station in the 2800 block of East Alondra Boulevard.
Surveillance video from the store shows the pair entering the store, with the the man heading to the register and pointing a gun at the cashier while the woman stuffs items off the shelf into a bag.
The man then shoves the cashier to the floor and demands that he open the register or he will shoot him.
The cashier eventually gets the register to open and the woman takes the money, the video shows.
The man then rips the cash register from the counter before the two leave the store.
The store owner told KTLA that the robbers got away in a Nissan sedan.
