GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- (WGCL) -- Gwinnett County Police are looking for two suspects involved in a home invasion that left one man dead after a person inside the house fired on the suspects.
The three people were forced out by a woman in the home who had a handgun and opened fire when she saw them inside early in the hours of Sept. 16. One man, Antonio Leeks of Atlanta, was killed in the shootout.
Surveillance footage released on Thursday shows the woman inside the home shooting at the suspects as the scatter. She owns businesses in the restaurant industry and stays at that house with someone else based on a convenient commute to one of her businesses, according to police.
Police are hoping the public can help them identify the two men who fled the scene.
"We're fortunate that we have this type of evidence," said Cpl. Deon Washington, referring to the high-quality video from inside the house.
Contact Police or Crime Stoppers immediately if you know the suspects.
Washington said, "We want to get these people off the streets as quickly as possible. As you'll see they are very, very dangerous individuals who are very bold and brazen."
