Dramatic video shows people restraining driver trying to flee fatal Dallas hit-and-run

DALLAS -- (KDAF) -- The suspect in a fatal accident Sunday was detained by at least one witness, according to police.
Dramatic video from the scene backs up witness accounts at the Westmoreland Heights Shopping Center.
The person who was hit Sunday night has been identified as 24-year-old Maricruz Gonzalez-Cortes. And even though more than a dozen people jumped in and tried to free her from being trapped between two vehicles, she didn't make it.
