Does video show kidnapping, or is it a hoax?

PHOENIX -- (KNXV) -- Phoenix police are investigating a possible kidnapping incident that occurred on 91st Avenue and Thomas Road Monday.
At around 2:30 p.m. police say the received several calls from witnesses who saw a white four door sedan with a child in the truck screaming.
Surveillance video obtained confirms that the white car came to a stop in the neighborhood after the trunk was opened. A man is seen getting out of the vehicle, closing the trunk, and getting back in the car as it drives away.
