Arrest made in attempted rape, robbery of Central Park jogger

NEW YORK -- (WPIX) -- An arrest has been made in the attempted rape and robbery of a female jogger in Central Park, NYPD officials said early Thursday.
Police detained Forest Richardson, 26, of the Bronx late Wednesday night. He is being charged with attempted rape, robbery, sex abuse, assault and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce first announced the arrest on Twitter.
"Manhattan Special Victims Detectives just made an arrest on the Att. Rape/Robbery in Central Pk," he wrote. "Truly the greatest Detectives in the World!"
