Manhunt underway for an escapee in Leflore County, Texas

LEFLORE COUNTY -- (KFSM) -- Leflore County Undersheriff Kendall Morgan said deputies are searching for a convicted sex offender who escaped from the back of a sheriff deputy's vehicle while being arrested late Saturday.
Colton Shawn Potter, 25, of Howe was convicted of rape Jan. 6, 2010, according to court records.
Deputies are searching for him throughout Leflore County. He's thought to be dangerous.
