More charges for boyfriend of missing Baltimore woman found dead

BALTIMORE, Md. -- (WBFF) -- Marco Holmes, the 22-year-old boyfriend of a Baltimore City woman who went missing last week and was later found deceased in a park, has just been charged in her murder.
Holmes was charged with first and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, handgun use in commission of a felony violent crime, handgun in vehicle and handgun on person, in connection to in the disappearance and death of 20-year-old Tonja Chadwick, police announced on Thursday. The day prior, Holmes was taken into custody on an unrelated charge of violation of probation after community tips led detectives to a Northeast Baltimore home where Holmes was staying. His vehicle was also recovered, police report.
