SAN ANTONIO, Tex. -- (KABB) -- Joyce Cassandra Medina meant so much to so many.

The 27-year-old loved her San Antonio Spurs, her rescue dog Caleb, and was on her way to becoming a bilingual teacher.Medina's family says the aspiring teacher was set to graduate in May.

"She was just starting to live, " said Kelly Sandoval, the victim's sister in law.
