WARWICK, R.I. -- (WJAR) -- A Warwick woman has been charged with cruelty to or neglect of a child in connection to her infant daughter's death, according to court documents.
Mariah Ramos pleaded not guilty in March, records show.
Investigators said Ramos found her daughter, 7-month-old Willow Ramos, unresponsive in her home on Airway Road on February 22. The infant was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The cause of death has not been released.
Warwick police then arrested the infant's father, Ryan Beeley. He is also charged with cruelty to or neglect of a child. Court records show the 37-year-old father has been out on bond since March.
Warwick Police would not comment on the developments but in February, Maj. Brad Connors told NBC 10 police had done a well-being check on Willow in August.
