O.J. Simpson parole hearing set for July 20 in Lovelock, Nevada

LOVELOCK, Nev. -- (KRXI) -- Former football star Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson will have a parole hearing on July 20 in Lovelock, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Serving a 33-year sentence for kidnapping, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon, Simpson has been incarcerated at the Lovelock Correctional Center in northeastern Nevada since 2007.
The 69-year-old was acquitted of the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman on Oct. 3, 1995.
Brown Simpson and Goldman were found stabbed to death at Brown Simpson's home on June 13, 1994.
The hearing will be conducted from the Carson City office of the Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners and video tele-conferenced to the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock.
If eligible, Simpson would be paroled on Oct. 1.
