Decomposing body found after fire on South Side

CHICAGO -- (WGN) -- A decomposing body was found after a fire on the city's South Side.
Police were called to the fire near 79th and Greenwood in the East Chatham neighborhood, just before 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Officers found the body inside a third floor apartment.
A death investigation is underway.
