Mother, teen daughter accused of dealing prescription opioids

Albion, N.Y. -- (WHAM) -- A woman and her 16-year-old daughter were arrested Wednesday in connection with selling prescription opioid drugs in Orleans County.
The Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force arrested 37-year-old Amanda Laraby (Streeter) of Middleport and her 16-year-old daughter, who is not being named by law enforcement, during a traffic stop on Tuesday.
Investigators stopped Laraby's vehicle on West Avenue in the village of Albion. They seized oxycodone and hydrocodone pills during the stop.
Laraby and her daughter are accused of selling the pills in Albion and Lyndonville.
Laraby was charged with two felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd, two felony counts of criminal possession of a control substance 3rd, one felony count of criminal sale of a controlled substance 4th, and one felony count of criminal possession of a control substance 5th.
The 16-year-old girl was charged with one felony count of criminal sale of a controlled substance 4th and one felony count of criminal possession of a control substance 5th.
