Man accused of sneaking into underage girl's home, impregnating her

SAN ANTONIO -- (KABB) -- Police arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of sneaking into the home of a 15-year-old girl and impregnating her.

According to court papers, Mark Anthony Pettet first met the alleged victim two years ago while at a community swimming pool. The girl told investigators the two exchanged phone numbers and began dating six months later.

Pettet eventually began sneaking into the girl's home while her parents were sleeping and the two began having sex, according to investigators. The teen girl told police Pettet reportedly told her he would not force her to have sex and would only do so if she wanted to have sex. She eventually found out she was pregnant.

When investigators questioned Pettet, he admitted to having an ongoing sexual relationship with the girl and added he believed he is the father of the child. Pettet is charges with sexual assault of a child.
