Children found in diapers on side of highway

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. -- (WAVE) -- A mother faces charges after police found her two children on the side of a highway in Shepherdsville.
Sierra Edds told police she went to the restroom and came back to find the front door to her apartment open -- and her children gone.
Reports later came in from drivers who spotted the kids in diapers on Highway 44 near Tanager Lane.
