DETROIT -- (WXYZ) -- "He thought it was a real gun, but it was paintballs," said the mother of a nine-year-old boy who was struck in the leg with a paintball in a drive-by attack Friday.
The boy was playing with two other children, ages 9 and 11, who were also injured.
It happened around 6 p.m. Friday on Lyndon near Trinity on Detroit's west side.
Police responded and arrested four suspects not far from the location. Police say at least two of the men could face charges.
"These children could be walking around blind for the rest of their life and y'all just out here playing," said the understandably upset mother. "It's not good to do that at all."
