BUCKEYE, Ariz. -- (KNXV) -- The Maricopa County Medical Examiner has released the autopsy report and other findings in the death of 10-year-old Buckeye boy Jesse Wilson.
The autopsy report, however, says his cause of death is “undetermined" and the manner of death is “undetermined.”
The anthropology report does say Wilson had several broken bones and fractures, but it's unclear if those injuries happened before or after his death.
Wilson disappeared July 18, 2016, from his family's Buckeye home. A massive community effort ensued, as neighbors spent endless hours searching for the boy but he was not found.
Nearly two years later, on March 8, 2018, human remains were found in a field by a city worker near State Route 85 and Broadway Road. Buckeye police later confirmed that the remains found were those of Jesse.
Police say they consider the death a homicide and have not ruled out any suspects.
Buckeye police say they're still taking tips on this case.
