SAN FRANCISCO -- (KRON) -- The 'Permit Patty' saga continues after new audio obtained from the San Francisco Police Department reveals that Alison Ettel did in fact call 911.
Last week Ettel was captured on video calling the police on an 8-year-old girl for selling bottled water on the street.
The video was recorded by the girl's mother Erin Austin, who said her daughter Jordan was raising money for a trip to Disneyland.
"She said 'if you don't show me a permit, I'm calling the cops.' [I replied] 'Okay, call them.' When she pushed 911 dial, I pulled my phone out of my pocket," Autin said.
She started recording, and the video quickly went viral.
Ettel publicly apologized and admits she should've just walked away.
