Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts missing since going jogging last week

The FBI is joining Iowa officials in the search of a 20-year-old University of Iowa student who has been missing from her eastern Iowa hometown for nearly a week, CBS News reports.
A new tip line has been dedicated to generating new leads in the disappearance of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts, as the Iowa student's family aims to clear up some misinformation, WHO-TV reports.
Tibbetts disappeared last week. Many people are reporting she was out for a run on Wednesday night when she disappeared from the Brooklyn area, but her aunt says she made it back to the house where she was dog-sitting. Her boyfriend was the first to notice she was missing on Thursday morning.

BROOKLYN, Iowa -- (WHO) -- The family of a missing University of Iowa student says she would never run away or fall out of touch with her family.
Mollie Tibbetts, 20, was reported missing on Thursday, when family members say she was going for a run in Brooklyn, Iowa. They say the last person she was in contact with was her boyfriend on Wednesday night. Tibbetts has not been heard from since.
Volunteers have been out searching for Tibbetts, but so far have found no trace of the student.
She was on a jog and was wearing a black sports bra, gym shorts, and running sneakers. Family says the last contact they had with her was at 10 p.m. Wednesday night through Snapchat. They knew she was missing when she didn't go to work the next day without calling out.
The Iron County, Utah Sheriff's Office says they don't know if Tibbetts is in Utah but they say she has family connections in Southern Utah, and they ask anyone who sees the woman to call their local police agency.
Tibbetts is originally from Oakland but relocated for school.
