Kentucky choir teacher suspended after arrest for alleged sexual abuse of student

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- (WDKY) -- A Lexington teacher is on administrative leave following sexual abuse charges. Fayette County Schools confirms Thomas Steuart has been a choir teacher at Winburn Middle School.
According to the arrest citation, Steuart would invite students to watch movies and swim at his home. The citation also reports he inappropriately touched a student.
Steuart was booked in the Fayette County Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
