'Do not take possession!' Florida deputies warn public as more marijuana packages wash ashore

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- (WJXT) -- More packages of marijuana have been found floating in the St. Johns County ocean, The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.
Monday, police said the Coast Guard and St. Johns County sheriff's deputies located more packages floating in the ocean over the weekend after a 30-pound bag of marijuana was found at Ponte Vedra Beach.
Police are asking that if people find packages, they should contact police immediately.
"If you encounter any of these, either floating in the water or washed up on our shorelines, do not take possession of them! Call your nearest law enforcement agency to have them collected and scheduled for destruction."
Last week, deputies located a package containing Marijuana, which had washed ashore. Over the weekend, the Coast Guard and SJSO located more in the ocean.
