NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- (KTLA) -- Two more women have come forward with allegations that they were sexually assaulted by an Orange County surgeon who is facing charges along with his girlfriend for allegedly drugging and raping two other women, law enforcement sources said Wednesday.
The women contacted authorities after Orange County Dist. Atty. Tony Rackauckas announced charges against Dr. Grant Robicheaux and Cerissa Laura Riley on Tuesday.
Grant William Robicheaux, 38, and Cerissa Laura Riley, 31, have each been charged with rape by use of drugs, oral copulation by anesthesia or a controlled substance, assault with intent to commit sexual offense and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
The defendants allegedly invited one of their victims, a 32-year-old woman, to a party in April 2016 and allegedly took her to Robicheaux's apartment once she was intoxicated. They allegedly gave the victim more drugs and raped her. In October, the defendants met the second victim act a bar in Newport Beach and drank with her until she was unconscious. They allegedly took her to Robicheaux's apartment and sexually assaulted her with intention of raping her, officials said. The victim woke up and screamed for help until police responded and investigated.
Robicheaux has appeared on a Bravo television show called “Online Dating Rituals of the American Male.” Robicheaux was declared Orange County's most eligible bachelor by Orange Coast magazine in 2013. He used the online dating name "InGoodHands," authorities said.
