Former church youth leader gets 15 years for sodomy of 15-year-old boy

MATHEWS COUNTY, Va. (WTKR) -- A former youth leader accused of child sexual abuse was sentenced to 15 years in prison Wednesday.
Kenneth Scott Marshall was found guilty of sodomy of a minor through the use of mental incapacity or physical helplessness following a months-long investigation into the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old boy.
Marshall worked as a volunteer youth leader at Cornerstone Church until June 2018, when the church says it let him go after learning of the allegations.
