NEW YORK (WPIX/AP) -- Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine released a new video created during his home confinement, just weeks after being freed from a Manhattan federal lockup over coronavirus fears.
A federal judge ordered Daniel Hernandez, who performs as Tekashi 6ix9ine, freed on April 2 to serve the last four months of his two-year sentence at an undisclosed location over concerns that he would be at risk from the virus in federal prison.
The video was presumably shot at the home.
The rapper was sentenced in December after he had testified against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang.
TMZ reported Saturday that Tekashi's attorney Lance Lazzaro told the site "his client has been relocated in light of his address being leaked -- for security reasons, obviously." Someone in the neighborhood reportedly took a picture of the rapper on a balcony where he was staying, and posted the pic and the address online.
