Five people were killed in a house fire on the 5300 block of North Truckee St. in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver on August 5, 2020. Denver Police said the fire appeared to be deliberately set, and classified the deaths as homicides.
A married couple, ages 29 and 23; a 1-year-old child; a 25-year-old family member and her 7-month-old daughter died in the fire.
Two 16-year-old defendants, Kevin Bui and Gavin Seymour, are charged with 60 felony counts, including first-degree murder; attempted murder; first- and second-degree assault; first- and fourth-degree arson; first- and second-degree burglary; conspiracy charges; and other sentencing enhancers, the Denver District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.

KDVR-TV reports sources told the station the teenage suspects were trying to retaliate after they were ripped off in a drug deal and then allegedly set the wrong house on fire.
Police announced the arrests of the three teens on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, the Denver Post reports.
