Suspect skipped job interview to rob bank, Ohio police allege

CLEVELAND (TCD) --
An alleged bank robber was arrested after his parole officer reportedly recognized the suspect in a bank surveillance photo in Ohio last week.
A bank robbery suspect was recorded on surveillance camera at a KeyBank location in North Olmsted on Feb. 11. North Olmsted Police asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the man. Police said the suspect’s parole officer recognized the man in media reports.
Police said the next day, the suspect was reportedly seen “loitering” at a KeyBank location in Kamm’s Corners, Ohio.
WJW-TV reports Cleveland resident Bruce Morway, 57, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 14, after he walked into a Dollar General store in Youngstown and asked employees to call police. Morway then reportedly surrendered to Youngstown Police.
Morway was held on $100,000 bond at the Cuyahoga County Jail.
Police said Morway was scheduled to be at a job interview on Feb. 11, the day of the North Olmsted robbery.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports a Cuyahoga County grand jury will consider charges against Morway.
