MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (TCD) --
A 36-year-old male was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly kidnapped a 16-year-old and held her hostage.
On Wednesday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) published an Amber Alert for Margaret Ann Prince, who was last seen May 26 at approximately 12:10 p.m. at her home in Lacey's Spring. She was wearing a blue shirt and black shorts, and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency believed she was in "extreme danger."
ALEA wrote in their alert she was taken by Adam Wilson and he was last seen heading west on foot from Prince's home on Prince Circle.
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office posted on social media Wednesday that they were responding to a "reported abduction/hostage situation" in the area and were searching for Wilson, who was last seen wearing khaki pants and a black shirt.
A few hours later, the Sheriff's Office announced Wilson was in custody and Prince was "located and safe."
