Ohio woman assaulted, kidnapped, and locked in her own car, police say

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (TCD) -- A woman was allegedly assaulted, kidnapped, and locked in her own vehicle before two suspects invaded her home Saturday.
According to WKYC-TV, Garfield Heights Police responded to a kidnapping report around 6:15 a.m. on the 13000 block of Bangor Avenue. On scene, authorities reportedly found a woman tied up and locked in her own car.
WEWS-TV reports that the victim told officers she came home earlier in the morning. After parking her vehicle, two armed male suspects allegedly approached her as she went to unlock her door. They reportedly struck her in the face with handguns before tying her up.
According to WKYC, Garfield Heights Police said the suspects then entered the victim’s home and stole several belongings before "locking the victim in her own car" as they fled the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
