Michigan high school shooting: 4 dead and several injured, 15-year-old in custody

According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, the suspect has been charged with one count of terrorism causing death, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The suspect is scheduled for arraignment later today, and additional charges are expected.
The Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday that four victims remain hospitalized. Three have reportedly been treated and released.
A fourth victim died as a result of the shooting at Oxford High School, as announced by the Sheriff's Office Wednesday. The student was identified as 17-year-old Justin Shilling.
Upon further investigation, the Sheriff's Office said the suspect had "18 live rounds on his person when he was taken into custody. Three magazines were recovered at the scene. Thirty spent rounds were found at the scene."
According to Wednesday's update from the Sheriff's Office, investigators learned that the suspect had met with the school a day before the shooting over behavioral issues. The school reportedly did not note anything of concern prior to that meeting.

OXFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (TCD) -- A 15-year-old sophomore is in custody after reportedly bringing a handgun to school and shooting multiple people, including three students who died.
According to a briefing from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, deputies responded to a report of a school shooting at Oxford High School. Dispatchers reportedly received over 100 calls.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, a student at the school who has not yet been named, was taken into custody within five minutes of the original 911 call. He reportedly did not offer any resistance when taken into custody.
The Sheriff’s Office released the names of the students who lost their lives in the shooting: 16-year-old Tate Myre, 14-year-old Hana St. Julian, and 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin.
According to the Detroit Free Press, eight people, including a school teacher, were injured. Three of those injured were reportedly in critical condition.
Upon further investigation, authorities learned that the recovered 9mm firearm "had been purchased by the father four days prior to the incident," the Sheriff's Office said.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the suspect was in class during the day of the incident and has requested to speak with an attorney.
The investigation remains ongoing and more updates are expected to come, the Sheriff's Office said.
