Houston man sentenced to 30 years for molesting 2 boys when he was their nanny

HOUSTON (TCD) -- A 32-year-old man was sentenced to 30 years in prison this week after he allegedly molested two boys when he was their nanny.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday that Lee Smith III pleaded guilty to one count of sexual abuse of a child. He reportedly agreed to the sentence.
According to the statement, Smith, who also went by the name Justin, reportedly molested the boys for over a year. They were about 9 years old at the time, the District Attorney’s Office says.
Smith reportedly acted as a nanny for a single mother, and the boys eventually told their mother what allegedly occurred. The mother went to authorities and Smith was charged in 2019.
KPRC-TV reports Smith allegedly used to dress up in scrubs and a lab coat and try to pass as a pediatrician. In August 2017, he allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl and fondled an 8-year-old boy the same day in his apartment, according to KPRC.
