Georgia man allegedly disfigured patients and practiced dentistry without license

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (TCD) -- A 45-year-old man was arrested Friday, Dec. 3, for allegedly performing dental work without a license and causing pain and disfigurement to patients.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Gwinnett County deputies received complaints from victims who went to see Gerardo Lossada for dental work. Deputies reportedly served a search warrant at Lossada's residence and concluded that he illegally performed dentistry and orthodontic work.
The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from the Georgia Dentistry Board.
According to jail records, Lossada was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail and charged with practicing dentistry without a license. He was later released on $1,300 bond.
