Naked Fla. man arrested after allegedly fatally beating woman, 10-month-old and causing multiple car crashes

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (TCD) -- A 35-year-old man was charged with premeditated murder after allegedly fatally beating a woman and a 10-month-old boy.
According to WFOR-TV, on Friday, May 20, Dale Spidle allegedly killed 61-year-old Elizabeth Carmona Echeverry and the infant in the unit next door to his condo before speeding off in a car and causing multiple crashes.
Spidle stole a car from a shooting victim in a nearby crime scene and killed a driver in Pompano Beach in the process, WPLG-TV reports. Spidle was allegedly naked at the time of his arrest.
The Coral Springs Police Department told WFOR that the Broward County Medical Examiner's Office report confirmed Carmona and the baby died of blunt force trauma.
Carmona recently retired from her job in Colombia and was reportedly in Coral Springs to visit a niece and her niece's son.
According to records, Spidle remains held in Broward County Jail without bond on multiple charges, including premeditated murder, robbery by sudden snatching, aggravated battery with deadly weapon, resisting officer, burglary, and reckless driving.
