SAN ANTONIO (TCD) -- A father, his daughter, and his son are accused of putting a dead 19-year-old woman’s body in a plastic bin and leaving it in a vacant driveway.
Court records show Frank Rangel, 42, Alysson Paredes, 25, and Adam Rangel, 18, were all booked into the Bexar County Jail on Aug. 1 on a charge of altering/destruction/concealing a human corpse relating to an incident that allegedly occurred July 19. All three are being held on $100,000 bond.
According to KSAT-TV, 19-year-old Gloria Martinez was reported missing July 19. On July 20, San Antonio police reportedly went to her residence and located a crime scene inside.
KSAT reports an anonymous caller contacted San Antonio Police to inform them about body outside an abandoned home on the 2400 block of San Luis Street. She was found inside a gray plastic bin, which was left in the driveway.
Martinez had reportedly been stabbed to death.
According to KENS-TV, which cites the arrest report, video surveillance allegedly shows Adam Rangel taking the same bin out of a car and appearing to have a difficult time moving it. Frank allegedly helped his son move the bin to a vacant lot.
KSAT, which also cites the report, says surveillance allegedly shows the three of them moving the bin again from the lot to the San Luis home.
The arrest report purportedly alludes to other people involved in the case, so there might be additional arrests. No one has been charged with Martinez’s death yet.
