Maryland woman accused of striking and killing boyfriend with car

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Md. (TCD) -- A 38-year-old woman was arrested and charged after allegedly fatally running over her 40-year-old boyfriend.
According to a news release from the Prince George's County Police Department, officers responded to the 6100 block of Floral Park Road in Brandywine, Maryland, to a report of a person stuck underneath a vehicle outside a home on Saturday, Aug. 20, at approximately 8:45 p.m. At the scene, authorities reportedly found the victim, Shamatto Clarke, deceased.
Upon further investigation, police said the victim's girlfriend, Udele Burno, "intentionally struck the victim with her car, causing fatal injuries."
She was reportedly arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter and remains held in the Department of Corrections without bond.
Electronic court records obtained by WJZ-TV accuse Burno of several domestic violence charges since 2005.
