Kentucky man accused of burying dead woman behind home after night of partying

ELSMERE, Ky. (TCD) -- A 53-year-old man was recently arrested and charged after allegedly burying a missing 28-year-old woman's body.
The arrest warrant issued by the Kenton County Police Department alleges that on Sept. 3, the remains of Kadidra Roberts were found in a shallow grave in the woods near Palace Avenue and Spring Street. Roberts was reported missing out of Cincinnati by her mother, police said.
According to the warrant, Roberts was last seen on Aug. 17 during a video phone call, where Roberts showed her mother a man she was with.
On Sept. 1, Roberts' mother and other family members began a search for her on Spring Street after hearing that someone saw her inside a home with the same man from the video call.
Elsmere Police reportedly responded to the scene and identified the man as Theodore Myers.
According to the warrant, video surveillance revealed Myers making trips between Spring Street and the wooded area where Roberts' remains were found.
On Sept. 7, a search warrant was reportedly executed at Myers' Spring Street home, where Kenton County Police Department officers found some of Roberts' belongings. That same day, Myers was arrested by the U.S. Marshals on unrelated charges.
During an interview, the warrant alleges that Myers told authorities he met Roberts at a reggae event in Cincinnati on Aug. 17. They reportedly partied together throughout the night and "passed out."
Myers told authorities that he and Roberts woke up and had breakfast before passing out again. When Myers woke up again, he allegedly found Roberts unresponsive.
In a panic, on Aug. 18, Myers reportedly tried to remove her body from the home, wrapped her in fabric, placed her in a "large green trash bin," and dumped her in a shallow grave he dug in the woods. He also threw away Roberts' wig and clothes, according to the warrant.
Autopsy results are pending, and the warrant says Myers could face additional charges based on the cause of death once it gets determined.
Myers was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on Sept. 7, records show. He was charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence with bail set at $250,000, according to the warrant.
