LINCOLN COUNTY, Wash. (TCD) -- A nationwide arrest warrant is out for a 54-year-old man after his 53-year-old missing wife was found dead in a field.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Charles Bergman is wanted on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife, Theresa. Charles was last seen driving a silver 2013 Chevrolet Impala, and the Sheriff’s Office said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
A farmer reportedly discovered Theresa’s body in some "tall grass" in a rural part of the county on Thursday, Sept. 22. The Spokane County Medical Examiner will reportedly conduct an autopsy to determine her manner and cause of death.
Theresa and Charles were reported missing to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office on Sept. 18 because they were "overdue to arrive back home as expected."
Charles allegedly went to pick up Theresa from the Spokane International Airport on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 12:40 a.m., but neither person returned.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office shared a screenshot of a surveillance video at an ATM, but they did not say when or where the picture was taken.
