FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (TCD) -- The CFO of the major corporation Tyson Foods was reportedly arrested over the weekend when he allegedly fell asleep in someone else’s home.
Washington County Jail records show John R. Tyson was arrested Sunday, Nov. 6, on charges of public intoxication and criminal trespass. He bonded out the same day.
According to the arrest report cited by KNWA/KFTA-TV, a woman came home to her residence on the 400 block of North Mock Avenue at approximately 2 a.m. and found Tyson asleep in her bed. She reportedly called police and said she thinks Tyson got into her home because she left the front door unlocked.
KNWA reports Tyson’s clothes were reportedly at the foot of the bed, and officers were able to identify him once they found his driver’s license. When officers tried to speak to him, he reportedly began to fall back asleep and could not speak. He also reportedly smelled of alcohol.
According to his bio, Tyson serves as the chief financial officer of Tyson Foods and is the son of the company’s chairman of the board, John Tyson.
